چکیده

Diesel engines cause major pollutants such as hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), and oxides of nitrogen (NOx). These emissions affect environmental systems lead to global warming climatic change effects. also humans health problems like lung cancer, breathing problems, headaches, etc. Hence, some necessary action has be taken minimise these pollutants. There are several steps available control emissions. The coating the piston using catalytic material is an effective method novel approach reducing in diesel with alternate fuel operated engines. copper-chromium-zirconium alloy (CuCr1Zr) known for its good thermal conductivity catalyst material, coated bycopper-chromium-zirconium 250µm thickness. Tamanu oil was blended a 20% (B20) 40% (B40) ratio used engine. results showed significant reduction improvements performance. In this research, Taguchi grey relational analysis (GRA) optimization technique study effect engine operating parameters on emission level load alloy-coated Based experimental found that most influential factor CO HCexhaust gas reductions type engines.

The influence of operating parameters on the performance and emissions of a DI diesel engine using methanol-blended-diesel fuel

In this study, the effects of injection pressure and timing on the performance and emission characteristics of a DI diesel engine using methanol (5%, 10% and 15%) blended-diesel fuel were investigated. The tests were conducted on three different injection pressures (180, 200 and 220 bar) and timings (15 , 20 , and 25 CA BTDC) at 20 Nm engine load and 2200 rpm. The results indicated that brake s...
